Oh and the add also said that a grass catcher is available for the 42 inch fast when in fact it's not. I have lost count of the number of times I've had to mow by hand whilst my $7000 mower is in the shop again getting temporarily fixed. Had a pulley repaired under warranty a few hours run time from new for it only to have to go back again a few weeks later to have the pulley replaced under warranty. It has had nothing but problems since it was bought. Purchased new 42 inch cut ride after reading many reviews it is the worst thing I purchased. This is not a perfect top quality mower but when you compare it to what' else is available its probably still well worth consideration unless someone can convince you there is a better alternative.

My total costs after 3 years and 100 hours has only been $154.00 plus 1 oil change and my time to fit new cutter belts and drive shaft. I'm lucky I can do my own repairs and know it's done right.
Apart from the first $50.00 service to get the warranty my mower will never go back to any dealer as in most cases they have no clue and charge big. Read more rocket holding bolt tread drilled, plus a keyway slot cut right where the sprocket sits weakening the shaft.(amateur engineering) This is a big repair job removing the whole clutch and drive shaft assembly, requiring bearing pullers etc. It did 2 drive belts in 50 hours because they were cheap inferior belts supplied, got both replaced on warranty.(only fit Gates brand belts)Īt 100 hours the drive sprocket broke off, this is just bad engineering, the shaft is to small, has a sp. Mine wouldn't start because the throttle cable was set wrong and not engaging the choke. I doubt they don't come from Queensland fully assembled, so a lot depends on how they are set up. But a lot has to do with how the dealer presents them. When this mower is running without problems its hard to beat.
